Doing Good
The object and purpose of the International Climbers’ Festival are to celebrate and promote the sport of climbing for the people of Wyoming and the greater climbing community—as follows:
- Engage in activities to bring new and/or additional awareness of and interest in the sport of climbing.
- Sponsor a multi-day celebration of the sport of climbing in the internationally renowned climbing area surrounding Lander, Wyoming;
- Support the sport of climbing through funding of climbing exhibitions with an emphasis placed on understanding local customs and cultures;
- Provide local youth with the opportunity to experience the power of personal achievement and to practice the skill of problem-solving through climbing;
- Partner with entities that promote the sport of climbing and other related activities that are operated exclusively for public-interest purposes
