Lander Brew Fest {June 12, 2010}

by Climbers' Festival on May 14, 2010

Being in Lander, Wyoming during the summer cannot be beat. Kids are getting ice cream at the Scream Shack, the patio at the Lander Bar is packed, and City Park is lined with tents and people throwing frisbees. The summer season kicks off with the Lander Brew Fest. It’s really the first time you sit back {while looking around at the BBQ’ing, the live music, the flip flops and horseshoes} and say “ahh summer is here.” Folks that live here know it’s also the start of the triple-festival-extravaganza. Of coarse I am talking about Brew Fest > July 4th > Climbers Fest.

brewfestlogor09I can tell you that Brew Fest is quite a good time, and this is probably the most relaxed, down-to-earth Brew Fest in the country. Last year there were 50 brews and 16 breweries represented.

Grand Teton Brewing Co., Moab Brewery, Roosters Brewing Company, Snake River Brewing, Sud Brothers, Odell, Bohemian, Altitude, New Belgium, Oskar Blues, Pyramid, The Library, Wind River Brewing Co., The Cowfish, and more…

If you have the means to make it to one festival this summer, make it Climbers Fest {of coarse}. But, for the REAL Lander experience, you are just going to have to be out here all summer long.

Lander Brew Fest
June 12th, 2010
Noon-7pm
City Park, Lander, Wyoming

Have you been to the Lander Brew Fest? What are your best memories? {Tasting the spicy chili beer two years ago, while hanging out on the grass with good friends listening to music. Ahh.. summer in lander…}
